Edgar Cleijne (d. 1963, Eindhoven) Rotterdam ve New York’ta yaşayan, bir fotoğraf ve film sanatçısıdır. Geleneksel ve dijital görüntülemenin karşıt uçlarını birleştirerek antroposenimizin doğa ve kültürün kesişme noktalarındaki etkilerini inceler. Ellen Gallagher’la beraber ürettiği 16mm filmler, Milton Keynes Gallery, Birleşik Krallık (2015); Studio Museum, Harlem (2013); MOMA, New York (2011) ve Whitney Bienali (2010) gibi birçok yerde sergilenmiştir. Mimar Rem Koolhaas’la beraber yaptığı Harvard Project on the City işbirliği, Lagos: How It Works [Lagos: Nasıl İşliyor] (2008) kitabına ve Lagos Live [Lagos Canlı] (2003) filmine önayak olmuştur.

Edgar Cleijne (b. 1963, Eindhoven) is an artist working in photography and film who lives in Rotterdam and New York City. Merging the opposite ends of traditional and digital imaging, Cleijne looks at the effects of our anthropocene in the crossing points of nature and culture. The 16mm film pieces he produces with Ellen Gallagher have been shown at various venues worldwide including the Milton Keynes Gallery, UK (2015); Studio Museum, Harlem (2013); MOMA, New York (2011) and the Whitney Biennial (2010). His collaboration with architect Rem Koolhaas on Harvard Project on the City has led to the book Lagos: How It Works (2008) and the film Lagos Live (2003).
