Fabio Mauri (d. 1926  – ö. 2009, Roma) savaş sonrası İtalya’sından, ilk tekrenkli işleri ve Schermi’si [Ekranlar] 1957’ye dayanan bir sanatçıdır. 1970’lerde Mauri dikkatini lengüistik avangardın ideolojik bileşenine çevirdi ve Ebrea [Yahudi Kadın] (1971) ile Che cosa è il fascismo [Faşizm nedir] (1971) gibi eserler üretti. Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, Roma'da (1994), Kunsthalle, Klagenfurt, Avusturya'da (1997), ve Le Fresnoy, Studio National des Arts Contemporains, Lille'de (2003) üç kapsamlı retrospektifi oldu. 2012’de işleri Kassel’deki dOCUMENTA (13)’te ve Milano’daki Palazzo Reale’de sergilendi.

Fabio Mauri (b. 1926 – d. 2009, Rome) is an Italian post-war artist whose first monochromatic works and Schermi [Screens] date back to 1957. In the 1970s, Mauri turned his attention to the ideological component of the linguistic avant-garde and produced works like Ebrea [Jewess] (1971) and Che cosa è il fascismo [What is fascism] (1971). He had three extensive retrospectives, at the Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea in Rome (1994), at the Kunsthalle in Klagenfurt, Austria (1997), and at Le Fresnoy, Studio National des Arts Contemporains, Lille (2003). In 2012 his work was seen at dOCUMENTA (13) in Kassel and at the Palazzo Reale in Milan.
