Parrhesia Merkezi Agos’un ve Hrant Dink’in eski ofislerinde konumlanmıştır. Burası – hem zaman hem de mekân bakımından bir “aralık”: Bununla şunun arasında, konuşmak ile eylemde bulunmak arasında, okumak ile kullanmak, öğrenmek ile öğrendiğini unutmak arasında –sabitlenmiş sınırların sorgulandığı ve ayırt edilemez, iş görmez duruma getirildiği bir mekân. “Tarih” diye miras aldığımız şeye ve başımıza gelenlere nasıl layık olabileceğimizi düşünmeye yönelik bir mekân.

Merkezi ayakta tutansa Parrhesia Dostları Cemiyeti:

Bariyerler ve dışlamaların ortadan kaldırılmasını arzu eden bir cemiyet.
Dilleri harmanlayan ve ufkunda Babil olan bir cemiyet.
Kendi kendiyle çelişme ve tutarsızlık gibi suçlamaları kabul eden bir cemiyet.
Gerçekliği, görünüşün gözden kayboluş olarak sahnelenmesi şeklinde anlayan bir cemiyet.
Tarihsel, kültürel ve psikolojik kabulleri sarsmaya çalışan bir cemiyet.
Bu cemiyetin düşmanları, kültürel uyuşmacılık veya uzlaşmaz rasyonalizm ve gericilikle metne veya söze el koyanlardır.       
Dostlarıysa bir oluş, sabitleştirmeme, menteşe sökme, çalıştırmama ve uyumsuzca anlama sürecini arzu ederler.

Her şey kendini ilk bakışta göstermeyecektir.

The Centre for Parrhesia is situated in the former offices of Agos and Hrant Dink. It is – a space and time of interim: between this and that, between speaking and acting, reading and using, learning and unlearning – a space where fixed borders are questioned or rendered indiscernible, inoperative. It is a space for thinking how to become worthy of what happens to us and what we inherit as 'history'.

The Centre is maintained by the Society of the Friends of Parrhesia:

A society that desires the abolition of barriers and exclusions. 
A society that mixes languages and has Babel in its horizon. 
A society that accepts charges of self-contradiction and inconsistency.  
A society that understands reality as the staging of appearance as disappearance. 
A society that seeks to unsettle historical, cultural and psychological assumptions.  
Its enemies consist of those who foreclose on text or speech by cultural conformism or intransigent rationalism and reactionarism.  
Its friends desire a process of becoming, unfixing, unhinging, unworking, and uneven understanding.

Everything will not show itself at first glance.
