Nguyen Huy An (d. 1982, Hanoi, Vietnam) Hanoi’de yaşayan ve çalışan bir sanatçıdır. Nguyen’in sanat eserleri, düşüncelerine giden yolları çizmeye çalıştığı girift şiirsel serüvenini yansıtır, tıpkı yeraltı su kaynaklarının sonsuzca sızarak bir kuyuda toplanması ve bu sırada kuyunun yüzeyinin sakin kalması gibi. En çok bilinen eserleri Singapur Bienali’nden (2013) The Great Puddle [Büyük Su Birikintisi] (2009) ve Nîmes Müzesi, Fransa’daki Disrupted Choreographies [Bozulmuş Koreografiler] sergisinden A A Â’dır (2014). Galerie Quynh’daki son solo sergisi 78 Rhythms [78 Ritim] (2014) neredeyse on yıllık bir dönemden eserlerini içeriyordu. Nguyen ayrıca Phu Luc (Ek) adında bir performans kolektifinin parçasıdır.

Nguyen Huy An (b. 1982, Hanoi) is an artist who lives and works in Hanoi. Nguyen’s artworks reflect his intricate poetic journey trying to trace the ways to his thoughts, akin to the endless osmosis of groundwater sources accumulating in a well while the well’s surface rests subtly. His most recognised works are The Great Puddle (2009), exhibited at the Singapore Biennale (2013) and A A Â, shown as part of Disrupted Choreographies at Carré d'Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art Nîmes, France (2014). His latest solo exhibition 78 Rhythms (2014) at Galerie Quynh featured works spanning almost a decade. Nguyen is also part of a performance collective named Phu Luc (Appendix).
